Alameda Office sales@passageyachts.com USED Alerion Express 28s: Check online listings using such services as http://www.yachtworld.com/index.html Used Alerion Express 28s are relativley rare, the boats hold their value well, or even appreciate a bit depending on added extras and maintenance, and most buyers find they have to look outside the Bay Area for used boats. If you choose to puchase a used Alerion Express 28, it is suggested that you ask for input on the boat from the local SF Bay fleet members. Keep in mind that hull numbers 150 and subsequent Alerion Express 28s have a different shaped keels then the earlier versions. The later bulb-keel versions offer a lower center of gravity. To date we have no racing Alerion 28s in on the San Francisco Bay featuring the older-style fin keels. So we cannot comment on the relative performance capabilities of the two versions.
